The Makita XPS02ZU 18V X2 (36V) LXT 6-1/2″ Plunge Circular Saw (XPS02ZU) is ideal for cutting large wood panels, melamine, MDF, aluminum, Corian, and more. It comes equipped with an automatic-start wireless system that communicates with a wireless-equipped dust extractor for easily powering it on and off. This cordless saw features a powerful BL Brushless motor that delivers up to 6,300 RPM for faster, smoother cuts along with Automatic Speed Change technology that adjusts the speed and torque to the material for optimum performance. Electronic speed control maintains constant speed under load, while a soft start feature ensures smooth start-up and longer gear life. The X2 LXT batteries reach a full charge in 45 minutes and are capable of delivering up to 125 cuts in 4×8 sheets of 1/2″ plywood per charge.
